Me and My Dog Photographer of the Year

After last year’s success in the Xperience Portrait Awards when I won the Top Dog Creative category, I was delighted to learn on Friday night that in this year’s competition I won the Me and My Dog category!

With over 8,000 entries from all the competing studios, and only 14 category winners, the awards were streamed live on Facebook (you can catch up on the video here) this year due to the ongoing pandemic situation. I was watching with baited breath as the top ten and then overall winner in each category was announced. The standard of entry was very good so I was delighted, not to say shocked and stunned, when my name was announced as the overall winner of the Me and My Dog Category with this image of Gizmo the French Bulldog and Daniel.

I’m also delighted for Gizmo’s owners who win a fabulous wall frame of the image.

Some fabulous news in the tough year that has been 2020!
