Domesticated Animals Photographer of the Year 2023 – British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) Midland Region

I was surprised but delighted to be awarded the title of ‘Domesticated Animals Photographer of the Year 2023‘ for the Midland Region of the British Institute of Professional Photography at the annual awards recently. I had three images in the finals and my image of GSD Sushi in the beautiful morning light was the image that won me the title.

I am especially pleased as it’s the seventh time that I’ve held that title (or ‘Pet Photographer of the Year’ as it was previously known!) since 2014, and the first time succeeding with a dog portrait in my ‘new’ outdoor location.
