Safe operation protocols following the Covid-19 Virus
With your safety, your dog’s safety, and our safety in mind, we have introduced some new working protocols as well as common sense initiatives to comply with government guidelines and advice to ensure that we are Covid compliant, as illustrated above.
As professional photographers working in and with our local community it is essential for us to help and minimise the spread of any infection, and even though we have always operated a clean studio working policy we haverevised and updated our working protocols to protect us and you.
Like all small business we have been hit by this pandemic lockdown and are eager to get back to work, but we can only do that safely with your co-operation, which includes a no touch protocol, maintaining appropriate social distancing and sanitization on arrival.
Prior to your visit
If at any time you believe that you, or anyone that you have been in contact with, are suffering from or dispaying the signs of Covid-19 symptoms it is important to contact us and we will be happy to re-arrange your appointment.
Personal Protection Equipment
We would prefer to work without masks most of the time, but at your request, or for specific reasons or government guidelines, we will have them available for ourselves. Should you require a mask please ensure that you bring your own on your visit.
Our key PPE protection will be through hand washing and sanitiser gel will be available for both your and our use as required.
Using your lead
Whilst we have a selection of leads and show leads available should a dog need to photographed on a lead we do ask that for the time being you bring your dog(s) to your session using your own lead(s) thus avoiding the need to use one of ours and reduce unnecessary contact.
Our diary has always been run on an ‘appointment only‘ basis, whether for actual sessions, viewing and ordering appointments, or collections.
It will continue to be run on that basis but we have increased the gap between appointments to ensure no crossover of clients as well as ensuring our contact is minimised with appropriate social distancing.
We will follow guidelines on grouping and numbers at all times and adjust to the numbers in a session allowed, again with appropriate social distancing.
Prior to, and between, all sessions our sanitisation and cleaning protocols as a minimum include but are not restricted to cleaning of all client areas and furniture, including client toilet facilities, and all door handles, plus cleaning of any studio props that clients might have come in to contact with.
In addition, hand sanitizers and wipes are available for your use on arrival and your and our use as required.
We have re-arranged the furniture and layout of our studio to ensure that there is sufficient space in our viewing area to allow social distancing.
Our price list will be available to take away in an envelope after your session. If you prefer we can provide it in digital format for viewing on your computer, mobile phone or tablet.
We can offer contactless payment via our card machine or payment can be made by bank transfer. We will not be able to accept payment by cash for the time being.
When your finished artwork is ready we will arrange a mutually convenient dedicated collection time for you, ensuring that there is no client crossover.
