Photographer of the year – British Institute of Photography Midland Region

Four four out of the last five years I have been delighted to be awarded the accolade of Pet Portrait Photographer of the year for the Midland Region of the British Institute of Professional Photography.

This year I was absolutely bowled over to not just win the title Pet Portrait Photographer of the Year with my image of Conker the Chow Chow but for that image to also win me Portrait Photographer of the Year and overall Photographer of the Year for the region.

I’ve watched in awe over recent years as some stunning photographs have won the overall title in the region never thinking that one day I might do so too.

Delighted, shocked, stunned and still smiling after the awards evenin glast week.
